This document outlines everything you need to know before we begin — how I work, what we'll do together, and the terms that keep us both protected. Please read through at your own pace.

How we'll work together.

Complete this proposal

Fill in your details, read through the terms, and sign at the bottom. Straightforward and quick.

Confirm your booking

Once I receive your signed proposal and deposit, your session is confirmed. I'll follow up by email with the details.

We work together

I arrive at your space and we get going. Every decision about what to keep or let go is entirely yours — I'm here to guide, not to judge.

Invoice by email

After each session I'll send an invoice. Payment is due before the next session or within 7 working days.

Terms & Conditions

What we both agree to.

These terms cover your first session and all future sessions. Should I make any changes, you will be notified and asked to sign a new agreement before any future sessions take place.

Cancellation Policy

  • 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.
  • If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, the deposit will not be refunded.
  • I will always try to give you the same notice if I'm unable to attend.

Confidentiality & Privacy

  • Complete confidentiality and discretion, always.
  • Your personal details are held securely and used only in connection with my services.
  • I will never share your information with any third party without your consent.

Your Belongings & Decisions

  • Every decision about what to keep or discard is entirely yours — always.
  • I cannot provide valuations or identify items of special value or rarity.
  • I cannot accept responsibility for decisions made regarding possessions.
  • Nothing is removed or disposed of without your express authorisation.

Personal Safety & Lone Working

  • For my safety as a lone worker, I share my whereabouts and session timings with my partner. This is not shared with anyone else unless required for safety.
  • Please disclose the names of any partners, dependants, or others who reside in or share the property before we begin.
  • If evidence of infestation is found, the session will pause until professional pest control has been arranged.
  • If the working area is unsafe, I reserve the right to cancel.

Cleaning

Lua Maria Professional Organiser is not a cleaning service. I am unable to carry out cleaning tasks during sessions.
